Lisa Diem Yoga Teacher

Lisa Diem

Living Yoga Teacher & Retreat Curator/Director

Hi, I am Lisa Diem and my motto is Yoga is for ANYONE! Beginners as well as those with a regular practice take comfort in my classes as I provide a very welcoming, warm and loving environment to begin a new journey. In each class I combine classic yoga postures in a thoughtful but light-hearted way, based on what you need.  Pranayama (breathing techniques),  Asana (postures) and Meditation are all incorporated together bringing awareness to "the self" in each class. Bringing the breath, the mind and the body together as one, l believe yoga can literally change our lives on and off the mat. My love of yoga, life and fun nature energy comes to shine in each of my classes. Yoga has been a big part of my life over the last several years and has helped me over come many obstacles physically, emotionally and mentally.  It has brought me to my true spiritual calling where I am learning peace within. My love is to share my passion with others. Check out Lisa's Weekly Classes on the Schedule such as Gentle Yoga and definitely check out her One Day Women's Retreats.

Sarah Pilates Bobcaygeon - Sarovara Yoga

Sarah Sullivan

Pilates & Fitness Instructor

Hi! I’m Sarah; a certified group fitness instructor & pilates teacher at Sarovara Yoga. I work as a full time dental assistant by day - but health, fitness, & self care is my passion. After spending some time working on myself - diving into self development books & podcasts, treating myself to a regular self care routine, and digging deeper into my heart to find out what I truly want out of life - I have come to the realization that dedicating time to myself for fitness, fuelling my body with nutritious foods, and showing up to be the best version of me has made such a positive impact on my daily life & mindset. Therefore I want to help others on the same path. Helping others makes me thrive and it warms my heart to know I am the littlest part of someone else’s journey to their healthiest self. Join me for a pilates class full of exercises to build mind-body connection while strengthening and stretching. I promise you’ll leave feeling refreshed, reset, and reengergized.

“Take care of your body. Its the only place you have to live.”

Kristyn Rose Foster

Living Yoga Teacher & Faculty of the School of Living Yoga

I truly love yoga.  I love what is has done and continues to do for my body, for my mind and for my spirit. That love of yoga has made me want to share it with others - to help them discover and explore yoga in their own lives, in their own experiences.  And I chose Kripalu - a Yoga and Ayurvedic school and wellness centre in western Massachusetts - to do my teachers training because of their 40 year history in educating yoga teachers.  Kripalu Yoga emphasizes radical self-acceptance, curiosity and self reflection, and a strong and deeply supportive practice of pranayama (breathing), asana (poses) and dhyana (meditation).  I am also a retired financial services executive who spent a good portion of my career living and working in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Sydney. Yoga in the Kawarthas, working and practicing with such remarkable people as Ally, the community at Sarovara, and the larger community, is as rich and interesting as anything I've ever done. As a part of your membership to the School of Living Yoga Online Studio, you get bonus weekly classes with me along with other Faculty from the Kripalu Center.

Tiina Kivinen is the co-director of the School of Living Yoga. She not only directs trainings like Embodied Wisdom 200 Hour Online Training, Moon To Moon Restorative Yoga Teacher Training & Transformational Sleep Yoga Nidra Teacher Training, but she also co-leads our Living Yoga Tropical Retreats in the beautiful Costa Rica. Tiina is leading her weekly classes and workshops online with our global community of students on the School of Living Yoga Online Studio. A seasoned yoga instructor with a passion for therapeutic yoga, she leads workshops focused on self-inquiry and restoration. Her gentle guidance and expertise in restorative yoga and hypnotherapy enable participants to release physical and emotional tensions, promoting deep relaxation, rejuvenation and personal growth. Tiina is passionate about sharing the deeper teachings of yoga and yogic philosophy from the roots of the tradition of yoga in a way that shines a light on one’s own inner light, empowering individuals to shine their light into the world. She believes that transformed individuals transform the world, one person at a time.

Kristyn Rose, an experienced Vinyasa and Hatha yoga teacher shares several classes a week in the School of Living Yoga Online Studio. Kristyn shares her knowledge of dynamic flows and creative sequencing. In her workshops, she guides students through invigorating practices, blending alignment principles with fluid movements, to ignite inner strength and vitality and balances all of the active practices with incredibly soothing yin, restorative and yoga nidra experiences. Kristyn loves to walk a yogic path in this life deeply connected to the natural world. Her restorative offerings are slow and intentional, creating waves of peaceful relaxation and mindfulness practices that weave in the essence of Earth medicine, elemental teachings, lunar wisdom alongside ancient yogic wisdom. She offers an organic and holistic approach to healing and her intention is simply, to hold sacred space for you to be yourself, authentically. She believes that a yoga practice is an inward journey towards wholeness, oneness, and certain transformation, or what she likes to call, a 'home-coming'. Kristyn graduated from the School of Living Yoga in 2015 and since then has continued learning with Ally & Tiina in Yoga Nidra & Restorative Yoga and has since then come onboard as one of our talented and beloved teaching staff.
