Restorative Aerial Yoga is a deeply healing, low to the ground, suspension practice in an aerial hammock. With the intention to restore and relax your nervous system, experience a deep pelvic release, decompression of the spine and lower back relief. In Restorative Aerial Yoga, swaying and swiveling the body from the base of the spine organically offers a safe haven for letting go.

Ally guides a meditative state as you relax into the support of the silks and sooth the entire nervous system. This 90 minute experience will allow you to explore a deep state of healing relaxation to start out your week on the right foot.

This class is super relaxing and perfect for beginners to aerial yoga. We will explore fundamentals including zero compression inversions while still feeling the support of the ground. You will learn the ins and outs of the yoga silk, the principles and techniques of aerial yoga.

More About Restorative Aerial Yoga

This class is blissful, restorative, relaxing and perfect for beginners to aerial yoga. We will explore fundamentals including zero compression inversions while still feeling the support of the ground, stretching with the support of the aerial silks and floating in relaxations off of the ground! You will learn the ins and outs of the yoga silk, the principles and techniques of aerial yoga. This class is recommended for first timers, to discover the power, excitement and pure joy of inversions and learning fundamentals for eventually flying in open space (in a high off the ground class) while building knowledge of foundational movements essential to progression in the practice.

Restorative Aerial Yoga is a deeply healing, low to the ground, suspension practice in an aerial hammock. With the intention to restore and relax your nervous system, experience a deep pelvic release, decompression of the spine and lower back relief. In Restorative Aerial Yoga, swaying and swiveling the body from the base of the spine organically promotes spinal health and offers a safe haven for letting go.

More about Restorative Yoga: A restorative yoga sequence involves only 5-8 poses that are experienced for 5-10 minutes each, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. With as little effort as possible, the bolsters, blocks, blankets, and pillows (in this case, the aerial hammock) support you in light twists, seated forward folds, gentle backbends and more.

Ally guides a meditative/yoga nidra state as you relax into the support of the props and sooth the entire nervous system.

FAQ: Can I come for a drop in class? Yes, if there is space in the class that particular day. Please contact Ally (text 705 731 7037) to see if there is a silk available. A drop in class is 25$ (hst included).
